A Midsummer's Night Dream

I hope you are enjoying your days out of school and I remind you to start reading A Midsummer's Night dream. This is the cover from the first version of the comedy published in 1600. Here you are a brief introduction to the story by Shakespeare where fairies together with real people fall blindly in love through enchantments.
" The story is set in a forest inhabited by fairies on a midsummer’s night. It is concerned with love, marriage and society. The fairy monarchs Oberon and Titania, have quarrelled. Oberon enchants Titania with the juice of a magic flower and she falls in love with Bottom, the weaver, who has been bewitched by Puck in an altogether different way. These enchantments practised by the fairies on mere mortals (Hermia, Demetrius, Helena and Lysander )in the forest, must be lifted before the end of a midsummer’s night".
